This training is being held in Pacific Time.
Description:
Many systems have limited financial capacity or lack the planning to save for major system upgrades. With asset management planning, the standards for capital planning integrate levels of service, more long-term maintenance and life extending activities. Systems with an asset management plan can strategize for funding availability, as well as maintaining desired levels of service standards.
Participants will learn to:
· Build their asset management team and plan
· Develop level of service standard for their system
· Identify their system components and apply criticality ratings
· Calculate life cycle costs of their assets
· Develop a financial strategy for their asset management plan
· Create, update, and maintain their asset management plan
Target audience: operators, managers, financial managers, board members.
