Description:

Do you cringe when someone mentions the word test? Many operators get nervous about this when it comes to testing. Come learn the basics topics that are used in both Distribution and Treatment so you can prepare to take the D1 D2 or T1 T2 test. If you are new to water distribution and treatment and just want to learn the basics we will cover the following:

·       Safe Drinking Water Act SDWA

·       Water rights

·       Water use

·       Pumps

·       Chlorination

·       Backflow Safety

·       Public Relations

·       Sampling Etc.

We will put information into terms that make it a little easier to understand. In this workshop you will be introduced to the method of laying out a math problem and making it easier to put the numbers in your calculator correctly to get the right answer. We will try to make sure that the math answers make sense when you do use a calculator to figure them out. Come review and practice with us. The recommended audience includes water system operators, maintenance staff, managers and anyone who works on a water systems.
