Description:
Do you have an active cross connection control program? Have you been introduced to California's new CCC Program Handbook? Now is time to get in the game- not only are you required to have an approved program, but cross connection controls provide yet another barrier against water contamination.
This workshop will hand you the information and resources on how to develop policies and a successful program for your small water system.
Participants will learn:
· How to identify potential and actual cross connections
· Different backflow prevention devices and how to properly use them
· Basics on training and licensing for surveys and testing
· How to develop and implement a successful program
The recommended audience includes operators, managers, and board members.

California's New Cross-Connection Control Handbook: An Overview is a free training to attend.
Registration:
To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?
Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings. Each attendee will be required to register and complete an evaluation to verify their participation. Prior to session start, a Group Leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) which attendees will view the sessions together. Following the training an evaluation is sent to the Group Lead who will be responsible for sharing it with each attendee in the group.
