The Groundwater Well Operation & Maintenance training will be held on the following date and time:

Description:
How is your well performing? How do you know what is going on deep in the ground? Like all equipment, water wells must be maintained to ensure long life and quality water within the system. Wells need to be monitored regularly to compile vital information on the health of the source. 


Participants will learn:

·        Well inspection

·        Well operation and maintenance practices

·        Well pump basics and how to properly throttle a well pump

·        Groundwater quality concerns and trouble indicators

·        Measuring drawdown and tracking over time

·        Well sounders: Which one is right for me?

 

Operator Basics Series: The recommended audience includes operators, management, water system personnel or anyone with an interest in better understanding the value of operating a safe drinking water system. 


Location:
This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

 

Scholarship & Fees:
Groundwater Well Operation & Maintenance is a free training to attend.

 

Registration:
To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.

 

Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?
Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings. Each attendee will be required to register and complete an evaluation to verify their participation. Prior to session start, a Group Leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) which attendees will view the sessions together. Following the training an evaluation is sent to the Group Leader who will be responsible for sharing it with each attendee in the group.
