The Navigating PFAS Regulations training will be held on the following date and time:

Description:

Although per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been around for several years in the environment, they have only recently become a class of regulated contaminants by EPA and primacy agencies. This training is aimed toward educating drinking water operators and facility personnel on the requirements for PFAS compliance.

 

Participants will learn:

·        What PFAS are

·        PFAS in drinking water and health risks

·        EPA/NDEP's final rule for regulating PFAS

·        Compliance requirements and recommendations

·        Sampling methods and recommendations

·        Options for mitigation

·        Funding resources and how to get started
