Date & Time:
The Dona Ana County Water Summit will be held on the following date and time:
January 16 | 9:00AM-3:00PM | Lunch will be provided.
This training is being held in the Mountain Time Zone.
Description:
Equitable, reliable, and affordable access to safe drinking water, and safe collection and treatment of wastewater, are essential for quality of life. Many of New Mexico’s aging water and wastewater systems have been left behind and many communities lack adequate and resilient stormwater infrastructure. This leaves communities’ health and well-being at risk as they struggle to plan for a resilient future in the face of climate change.
The summit brings together water leaders, board members, utility staff, drinking water providers
and interested parties from private and public systems to address safe drinking water for now and
the future. We will share our greatest assets and challenges and together we will discuss how to
implement action steps to make our water systems resilient and safe
Please join us during the Doña Ana County Drinking Water Summit as we collectively develop solutions to meet these challenges.
