The Small Wastewater Treatment Plant Safety training will be held on the following date and time:

This training is being held in the Pacific Time Zone.
Description:
This training will cover safety topics related to wastewater treatment plants. This training is for both new and seasoned wastewater treatment operators, as well as management. We will cover a variety of safety topics which will increase safety awareness of plant personnel. Relevant resources, such as OSHA and WSHA website links and documents, will be uploaded for access by the participants. The goal of this training is to address the most common hazards in wastewater treatment plans and discuss methods of eliminate, controlling, or mitigating them.
Participants will increase their knowledge of:
· Slips, trips, and falls
· Bloodborne pathogens
· Personal protective equipment
· Chemical handling, storage, and spill clean-up
· Workplace hygiene in wastewater treatment plants
This training is recommended for wastewater manager, operators, and governing bodies.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.
Scholarship & Fees:
Small Wastewater Treatment Plant Safety is a free training to attend.
Registration:
To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?
Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings. Each attendee will be required to register and complete an evaluation to verify their participation. Prior to session start, a Group Leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) which attendees will view the sessions together. Following the training an evaluation is sent to the Group Leader who will be responsible for sharing it with each attendee in the group.
