The NAWMA Southern Nevada & Northern Arizona Operator Training is a hybrid training that will be held on the following date and time:

Description:
There are lots of reasons to visit Las Vegas, whether it is taking a chance at the Casinos, touring the strip, enjoying a show or taking in one of the unique museums Las Vegas has lots to offer. Las Vegas is also famous for conferences and this is a busy time of year for conferences and Nevada will be hosting two big events in March and April. If you are not able to make it to Reno, make plans to attend this event either in person or online! The focus of the workshop will be to develop the next generation of Tribal water operators as well as providing knowledge relevant to the duties of a water operator.
Operator certification test preparation topics covered:
· Water Main Installation
· Rehabilitation Backfilling
· Main Testing and Installation
· Safety Motors
· Engines Pumps
· Pumping Stations
Other topics covered:
· Safe Drinking Water Act
· 101 Compliance Sampling
These topics will allow tribal operators to maintain compliance with safe drinking water regulations and provide safe water to their communities.

To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.
Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?
Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings. Each attendee will be required to register and complete an evaluation to verify their participation. Prior to session start, a Group Leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) which attendees will view the sessions together. Following the training an evaluation is sent to the Group Leader who will be responsible for sharing it with each attendee in the group.
