South Central New Mexico Leadership Institute

Accreditation:

Board member and operator credits will be provided. Please have one operator per system attend. These classes are designed for a mix of participants including board members, utility staff and community members. This is a series of workshops with cumulative activities, so we ask that you commit to attending all sessions. If you must miss a session, please contact the instructors to catch up on what you missed. At the end of the series, we will be providing a monetary stipend to compensate for some of your expenses.

This training is being held in the Mountain Time Zone.

Description:

You are invited to attend the South Central NM Leadership Institute to strengthen readiness, planning and resiliency for your water utilities and for you as a leader! Join us in a series of workshops developed to assist you meet the challenges water leaders face with regulations, community engagement, funding and workforce.

This is a monthly opportunity for local leaders to solve local issues.

 

Topics include:

·        Collaboration for rural water systems

·        Succession 0planning and planning infrastructure projects

·        Addressing workforce challenges

·        Emergency preparedness

Scholarship & Fees:

South Central New Mexico Leadership Institute is a free training to attend. At the end of the series, we will provide a monetary stipend to cover some of your expenses.
