Description:
This training covers the engineering requirements for USDA Rural Development's Water and Waste Disposal Loan/Grant program, focusing on the key phases: Preliminary Engineering Report (PER), Design and Bidding and Construction to Final Completion. The training will also provide updates on new policies and regulations, including guidance on implementing the Build America Buy America (BABA) Act, which emphasizes domestic sourcing requirements for project materials.
Participants will learn:
· How to develop compliant PERs
· To manage design and bidding processes
· How to oversee construction to meet USDA standards
