The Wading into Wastewater: An Introduction to Wastewater Treatment Processes training will be held on the following date and time:

June 10 | 10:00AM-2:00PM

Description:

This introductory training is designed for new and aspiring wastewater treatment operators. Over the course of 4 hours, participants will gain a foundational understanding of wastewater treatment processes, key operational principles, and essential best practices in managing and optimizing wastewater systems. The course will combine theoretical knowledge with practical insights, offering participants a comprehensive overview of the daily tasks and responsibilities in a wastewater treatment facility.

Participants will:

·       Understand the basic principles of wastewater treatment and the importance of effective wastewater management

·       Identify the key components and stages of the wastewater treatment process, including primary, secondary, and tertiary treatments.

·       Learn the role of operators in maintaining and monitoring treatment systems, including equipment and safety protocols.

·      Gain knowledge of common challenges in wastewater treatment and how to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

·      Become familiar with regulations and environmental standards governing wastewater treatment operations.

This training will be hosted online on GoToTraining.

Wading into Wastewater: An Introduction to Wastewater Treatment Processes is a free training to attend.

Registration:

To receive contact hours for online workshops, each person must be registered with their own email address. An evaluation at the end of the training is also required.

Are you attending as a group, but not watching from your own computer?

Attendees do not need to participate from their own computer/device for the online trainings. Each attendee will be required to register and complete an evaluation to verify their participation. Prior to session start, a Group Leader will need to inform RCAC (registration@rcac.org) which attendees will view the sessions together. Following the training an evaluation is sent to the Group Leader who will be responsible for sharing it with each attendee in the group.
