Description:
Our annual Housing Counseling Summit will be happening in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 13-15. This conference will provide networking opportunities with housing counselors nationwide. There will be three days of classes offered. Each class session is four hours unless otherwise noted.
This conference will focus on providing networking opportunities with housing counselors nationwide. It presents a valuable platform for attendees to connect, exchange knowledge and establish collaborations. Bringing together housing counselors, attendees can benefit from a diverse range of perspectives, experiences, and expertise, ultimately enhancing their own skills and understanding of the industry.

Lunch will be provided for event participants on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Reception:
A networking reception will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in the evening with trivia, music, and appetizers. There will also be a cash only bar available for attendees who wish to purchase drinks, one free drink coupon will be provided. This is a great networking opportunity for attendees to make new connections and further professional relationships.

Salt Lake City is a very walkable city with many great restaurants and attractions. Our accommodations and classes will be at the Embassy Suites, which has many restaurants and shops close by. It is also approximately 12 miles from the airport.
Hotel Information:
RCAC has reserved a block of rooms for this event at Embassy Suites by Hilton Salt Lake West Valley City in West Valley City, Utah. The room block rate is $128 plus tax per night.
Please call 1 (801) 963-4760 to make your reservation and mention the Housing Counseling Summit to receive a discounted rate. Reservations under the discounted rate must be made no later than July 26, 2024.
Please note that the hotel will ask for a personal credit card upon check-in for incidentals and they will place a hold on your card.

Scholarships
RCAC will offer a scholarship to the first 30 people who register.
There is a limit of one scholarship per HUD approved agency. A $794.72 scholarship will be granted to the HUD approved agency to apply towards the cost of lodging, per diem and tuition for staff attending the Housing Counseling Summit.
Please note, in order to be eligible for the scholarship you must be employed by a HUD approved agency, register, and pay the fees required as part of the registration process in advance.
To be eligible for a scholarship you must stay at the lodging RCAC designated (Embassy Suites Salt Lake West Valley City). To be eligible for a scholarship refund you must attend the full length of the Housing Counseling Summit.
Scholarships will be issued to the HUD approved agency and NOT to the original form of payment. Scholarship refunds will be processed 30 days after the end of the event.
Fees:
There is a $200.00 dollar fee to attend the training.

Registration cost includes 2 ½ days of classes, 2 lunch keynotes and a networking reception. All course materials are included and will be available via the Event App. Course details will be available on your mobile device or laptop/tablet.
